Bridget Loves and Barney Bu
Where has the time gone? My mommy, Louis and I have been uber busy this Fall. And I just realized we haven’t blogged in ages. So what is new with us? Hmmm where to begin?
Well Louis was a duck for Halloween, I got to be a Vet AND a Tuxedo man (b/c I am spoiled). But mommy was having major issues downloading the photos and right now they are stuck in an Adobe format thingee in Photoshop on her PC. Talk about scary! We may have to dress up all over again to retake the pix. But I promise you we looked great. Mommy was a nurse;)
Otherwise, the neighborhood kids are back in school and we miss them so much! They always took us for walks every morning and afternoon and now we are just stuck here running around on the balcony barking at the lucky dogs walking by.
We promise we won’t be absent so much in the future. We love you all and look forward to chatting more. And take note, our jewelry line has changed a bit. We have sold out of a lot of the silver pieces in the bracelets, rings, earrings and decided to discontinue them. Now it is back to mostly diamonds and gold… And we pray the recession disappears soon- so we can celebrate our good fortune and love with diamonds!

As you all know we have been watching Milo for the month while his parents are in Europe. Today is the day he is supposed to go home.
Yesterday some exciting things happened. First our crazy cat lady neighbor had Milo held hostage for several hours. We had no idea, until we had to go for a long walk looking for him. And magically around 4 p.m. we saw him hop over the ten foot fence (um helped by the neighbor?).
He bit mommy in the middle of the night because he got the door open on his own. He was sleeping in his own room because of his biting issue.
Mommy went to pilates today covered in cat hair. The entire house is torn apart, all the furniture has it’s slipcovers removed and really anything removeable removed. There is a huge basket of laundry in the hall, all beds are stripped and piles of slightly peed on linens line the staircase.
WE love you Milo, but you gotta go home. This pee fest is too much for even me and Louis, who occasionally have an accident. Oh man.
Have a happy Sunday. We are hoping that as soon as Milo is gone, we will go back to being a small family of just three. Phew.

yummy!
So we are cat sitting for Milo. But Milo doesn’t like it here! Poor kitty cat! Today he was finally granted clearance to roam our neighborhood and instead of just having fun, he decided to climb a tree, chase some children and go in our neighbor’s house. And she isn’t nice- AT ALL. So now he is stuck back on the first floor of our home- alone. We feel awful, but can’t let him out due to the crazy neighbor.
Anyway, delightful times in the marina as usual. And we are starting to think we should make some kitty wear, or just let Milo wear our jewelry so he feels better!
I hope you are having an amazing summer!

seek and you shall find
Okay we haven’t been blogging a lot b/c it is the Summer Time and we are spending 99% of our time going to events, hanging out outside and just having fun!
But we wanted to let you see some more photos from our Amazing Photo Shoot at Otis & Lucy in Culver City. Andy Sheng is the amazing photographer and his work is in high demand by discerning LA pet owners. Ready to get your kids a photo shoot? They deserve it! Go see his work www.otisandlucy.com.
IN the meantime here is one of our favorite shots. Mommy is getting it printed out to hang above our sofa. Because we are her babies!

Louis and I are just kicking it here on the Fourth of July in our lovely waterfront home in LA baby! So far today we have spent our time chasing the cat, Milo, we are sitting for the month. We have eaten the cats food, he has eaten our food. He scratched us, we scratched him.
And now we are watching bad tv until the marine layer burns off. Mommy is going to a party a block away on the beach. She is looking forward to it. We are looking forward to having our Fourth of July treats. And we are all watching the fireworks display here on our own balcony at 9 p.m. We told mom she has to be home by then because this is a full house and we are liable to rip it to shreds when the explosions start!
Anyhow, Happy Fourth of July.

our mom has all the fun...
Well for the past week we have had a babysitter. Her name is Tara and she is our cousin. She is a yoga guru and teaches a lot of celebrity clients. Because hello we live in LA! She also used to live in an Ashram in both India and upstate New York.
While she was here we meditated and were very mindful. When our insanely hyper mom got home she couldn’t figure out why we liked to lay in our bed and stare at the water for hours WITHOUT barking. It is because we are yogis MOM!
If you want to check out here classes, events or basic guru skills please review her website: www.taradeviyoga.com.
In the meantime her is our hyper-kinetic mom on the airplane to Oprah land. She got to sit in the cockpit with the captains and their hats….

sea and sand beach club
On the original 90210 Brandon Walsh worked at the Beach Club one summer. When mommy moved to LA she started going to the “Beach Club”. Actually the Beach branch of the Jonathan Club. A membership social club (is that what you call it?). In any case her friends told her this was where Brandon brought out the towels and umbrellas. And she believed them because that is what they do at The Beach Club in real life. But upon perusing the internet for little tidbits of info, it seems they actually filmed at the then closed Sand & Sea Club, which was part of the Hearst’s estate and then turned into a beach club. We don’t get why it closed, only sort of kind of. And we know the original Hearst home was killed in the Northridge Quake in 94 via a chimney that took the structure down.
This is a lot of info for me to relay. So here is a photo of the original house (we think). It has since been reopened as the Annenburg Community Beach Club. That’s right the Heiress to the TV Guide Empire (or just TV Guide) put up the cashola to restore this club and turn it into a public spot for everyone to enjoy.
Hooray. I will be a The Beach Club, but only because they serve you drinks on the water’s edge (yes they do).

So we are just sitting here all packed up and ready for the desert BUT first we gotta wait for the cable guy. Since we moved in we still don’t have wireless internet set up properly. OMG it is a slight tragedy…. But to be honest waiting for this guy (our fourth try) is just silly.
When we do finally get on the road we have to stop in the Jewelry District to get some Barney’s Bling pieces customized for our customers. Woo hoo! Actually woot woot- that is our new favorite thing to say.
Have a happy and safe weekend!

maraichi bands rock!
Me and Louis are totally in love with our balcony. We get to hang out and play all day- and what can be better than that? It is sunny, there are flowers, lots of boats, people walking dogs and of course mommy working in her office.
Louis has been getting in a LOT of trouble lately. He keeps peeing on our white furniture b/c he misses mommy when she leaves us alone. When we stay in her office things are cool, but when she lets us run around he always pees on the sofa! So I guess we are getting a trainer to keep his little booty in shape. For a two pound nuggle he can be BAD.
WE are heading up to Pasadena today to watch Rocco for the weekend. This will be funny b/c Louis and Rocco- ha ha ha! I am sure the little baby will have to be carried around by mommy. But I am wondering if he can swim. I can swim and Rocco is afraid of swimming. Louis seems like he will jump right in.
Hmm, enough for now. And Happy Birthday to Grandpa Livingston. He turns the big 60 today! Woot woot.
Have a happy Friday!
